Workplace Safety Poster Redesign

My Role

I led the complete visual redesign of the posters. Working from the existing materials, I independently determined the creative direction and design approach for the new series, with final approval from my manager.

My goal was to create posters that were simple, visually distinctive, and easy to understand at a glance. Because the materials would be displayed in busy workplaces, I focused on strong visual hierarchy and clear communication to help the safety messages stand out.

The redesigned posters were submitted to the American Association of State Compensation Insurance Funds (AASCIF) Communications Awards in the Brand Campaign category, where the campaign received second place.

The posters were part of a larger collection of free safety resources available to more than 62,000 Texas business owners served by the company.

Texas Mutual Insurance Company provides free workplace safety resources to help policyholders launch new safety programs or strengthen existing ones. The company's collection included more than 20 workplace safety posters covering a variety of topics. Existing posters needed a refreshed visual approach that would remain clear and effective in busy workplace environments.
